Catching up on the news in our corner of the world, we had an incredible day Saturday at the priestly ordination of Ann Willms, our associate rector.We took a busload of St. Paul's folks to Trinity Church, Fredericksburg, and more joined us driving their own cars.
I am always moved at ordinations by the faithfulness not only of those being ordained, but especially by the people who have supported us and walked this improbable journey through seminaries, parish committees and the inner struggles about faith, God and vocational calling.
The Holy Spirit was much in the room with Ann and all of us. Here are a few photos taken by Diane Wakat. Thank you Diane for your photos and presence on Saturday.
