Fairy Princesses, Bears, Buzz Lightyear

Yesterday we took in an annual tradition in Charlottesville; we went to the grounds of the University of Virginia to watch the kids trick-or-treat. We saw skeletons and witches and lots of fairy princesses, and a few bears and spiders and a couple of Buzz Lightyears. The ghoulies and goblins crowded around the lawn, going from room-to-room, and students handed out gobs of candy. We saw lots of St. Paul's folks, though many were gawking just like us.

Later we went to Staunton for dinner and saw Twelfth Night at the Blackfriars Theater with the American Shakespeare Company. Well worth the ride. Lori reviewed the restaurant on her foodie blog. As many of you know, Lori is a professional food writer and knows her way around the kitchen. I highly recommend bookmarking her new blog Lori K's Cafe, and scroll down for her Do-Ahead Thanksgiving Dinner article.
