Holy Innocents: Human-bred evil in the midst of Christmas
Sorry to intrude on the Monday Funnies, but today marks the day of Holy Innocents, when it is said that King Herod killed all of the boys two-years-old and under in Bethlehem in an attempt to kill-off Jesus (Matthew 2:13-18 ). Whether it happened exactly that way is historically problematic, but it is a reminder of human-bred evil in the midst of the joy of Christmas.
