A Quiet Day for Earth Stewards

at Buck Mountain Episcopal Church in Earlysville *
$15 includes lunch
* From 1 pm - 3:30 pm there will be an optional afternoon outdoor session at
property adjacent to Buck Mountain Creek with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge
This retreat will provide time for prayer, inward reflection, and circle sharing
so that we may be nourished and sustained
while we are active in the outer work of earth stewardship.
Kathy Spaar is a long-time educator in spiritual practices and environmental studies and has developed a variety of
programs and workshops that nurture people's spiritual lives with contemplative practices and rituals as well as
creative experiences in nature. Kathy was raised in Charlottesville and attended St. Paul's Church with her family.
She received her BA degree from the University of Virginia and MS degree from Georgetown University.
Currently she is on staff at the Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage at the Washington National Cathedral.
